Biloxi School Offers Courses in Holistic Health

Enrollment is now open for The Southern Institute of Natural Health’s 2020 diploma courses offered in Biloxi. The Holistic Health Practitioner class can be started online in January with in-person classes beginning in August, and the Medical Herbalism class will begin in August. Classes in Natural Health and Nutrition, Iridology and Herbalism are available in an online format at any time.

“The Holistic Health Practitioner course is for anyone interested in living a healthier lifestyle and guiding others to do the same,” says teacher and Naturopath Betty Sue O’Brian. Medical doctors, dentists, physician’s assistants, nurses, massage therapists and stay-at-home moms have all taken the Holistic Health Practitioner class, which covers topics such as iridology, polarity balancing, muscle testing, plant identification, herbal formulas, essential oils, body systems, nutrition, cancer truths, Ayurveda and more. Students will also learn why the word doctor means teacher, and how time listening and sharing information can heal emotions so the body can begin to heal.

Students meet in a classroom setting with first-hand experience for one weekend per month for 12 months. Upon graduating from this class, students may apply for Board Certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
