The Health Hut owners, Jeff and Maggie Sheldon, attended the Showing Others Healthy Options (SOHO) Expo in Orlando last month to learn about new products alongside industry members from all over the world. Since 1971 the Southeast Natural Products Association (SENPA), a nonprofit trade association, has hosted this trade show and convention for professionals. SOHO is inclusive of the entire natural products industry and exhibitors represented foods, supplements, health and beauty, pet supplies, home and garden, publications and consultants.

 Standout topics from the event’s education lineup included the endocannabinoid system, digestive care and Sambucus (elderberry). Jeff says, “We really enjoyed learning about new products and their benefits so we can pass that information on to our customers. Attending shows like this one also gives us a chance to actually try products ourselves first. That way we can tell our customers about flavor and texture.”
