Health Freedom Alabama Defends Medical Rights Through Education and Advocacy

With Alabama’s state motto— “We Dare Defend Our Rights”—as
its guiding principle, Health Freedom Alabama works year-round to protect the
health freedoms of citizens across the state.
The nonprofit organization was born out of a grassroots
effort to pass legislation banning vaccine passports during the 2021 Alabama
legislative session. That effort led to the passage of Senate Bill 267, which
was signed into law on May 24, 2021.
“Founded out of necessity during the height of government
overreach in 2021, our organization began as a small coalition of concerned
parents and patriots who fought to pass legislation to ban vaccine passports in
Alabama,” shares Stephanie Durnin, director of Health Freedom Alabama. “Since
then, we have grown into a powerful statewide voice, advocating for medical
liberty and health freedom under the banner of our state motto. We fight for
legislation that protects Alabamians from medical mandates, defends informed
consent, and ensures that no citizen is ever forced to choose between their
livelihood and their health choices.”
In an age where natural health is under siege, Health
Freedom Alabama stands as a bold, grassroots movement committed to protecting the
rights of individuals and families to make informed choices about their health.
“Whether you’re a health-conscious mom, a concerned citizen, or a wellness
practitioner tired of corporate and government interference in your care,
there’s a place for you in Health Freedom Alabama,” says Durnin. “By joining
forces together, we can protect the health of our families and the future of
Alabama."
