There’s something especially meaningful about this May issue—something that reflects growth, momentum and the powerful women shaping wellness along the Gulf Coast. What began as a biennial feature has evolved into a broader reflection of how women are influencing the way health is understood, supported and lived in our communities.

This year, we are honored to showcase 20 Women in Wellness—the most ever featured. Each brings a unique blend of skill, passion and purpose to her work, offering holistic products, services and therapies that are making such a meaningful impact. Together, they represent a shift toward more personalized, proactive and empowering approaches to health—approaches that meet women where they are and support where they want to go.

This special edition also features Kimberly Cox, owner of juicery and Cafe Press & Co. and one of our most valued contributors. Her presence reflects this month’s theme, Vitality Her Way—a reminder that vibrant health is not one-size-fits-all, but deeply personal and intentionally cultivated.

Inside these pages, that theme continues with inspiring, women-centered content. Our feature, “Strong, Centered and Whole: Women That Inspire Us to Thrive,” highlights the many ways women are leading the way in consumer choices, stepping into strength and balance for themselves and their families. In Healing Ways, “Pelvic Power: Restoring Strength, Function and Confidence” explores an often-overlooked topic with insight and encouragement for women at every stage of life. Younger readers and families will find value in “Lessons for Young Female Athletes: How To Support Resilience, Agency and Joy,” offering guidance for the next generation.

In Conscious Eating, lentils take center stage as a nourishing staple in “More Than Soup,” accompanied by three flavorful, healing recipes: Super Greens and Beans Detox Salad, Creamy Red Lentil Garlic Dip and Mediterranean Lentil Power Salad.

The entire collection this month is designed to inform, inspire—and to be shared with a friend.

It is a privilege to bring these voices and resources to the community. May this issue encourage us all to define vitality in our own way—and pursue it with intention and confidence.

Health and happiness,

Michelle
