As summer heat settles onto the Gulf Coast, Fairhope Health Foods is helping customers prepare for time spent outdoors with an expertly compiled selection of seasonal wellness products. Store owner Lynnora Ash says the decision to expand the seasonal inventory was driven by customer needs. “It was an easy call, really. We had more and more people come into the store asking how to keep the bugs away or soothe their sunburn, so we started to order more of those products,” she says. “What I want people to take away from their time here more than anything is the feeling that they’re being listened to; that their health-related needs are being met by real, genuine people.”
