A Fast Metabolism Cures Many Ills

Kimberly Mullek, owner of Thrive Health & Wellness Coaching, is a Personal Trainer, Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Certified Fast Metabolism Coach. She has learned through personal experience and training to help people repair metabolism and change a slow metabolism into a fast one.

Thrive Health & Wellness Coaching helps clients find a fast metabolism with specific programs geared towards personal health.

“First, we may look at what your body is telling you. Do you have weight gain, headaches, low energy, high cholesterol? These are all messages from your body that something is out of sync. Our bodies want to keep us upright,” says Mullek.

Food is the first offense to help the body speed up metabolism. “Thrive coaching teaches how to eat differently based on what your body is saying. We also work with your doctor to find out what is going on inside through lab work,” says Mullek.

Whether it’s metabolic syndrome, blood sugar issues or diabetes, labs can give indications as to what the diet should consist of. Fixing the metabolism can help with almost every issue the body can have, whether it’s digestive disfunction such as indigestion or IBS, energy issues such as exhaustion, hormonal issues such as menopause or impaired lipid metabolism such as inflammation or high cholesterol.

“I had a client who was swollen all the time. She couldn’t get her rings off at the end of the day. We needed to support her system and get her on an anti-inflammatory program. In fact, it was stopping her weight loss. We put her on the three-day inflammation protocol and the inflammation went down and she started losing weight again,” says Mullek.

Other issues that are affected by metabolism imbalance can include mood changes, cognitive challenges, immune dysfunction and autoimmune disorders.
